Can't wait! What is it about seeing your children's faces light up when they see something new and exciting that makes you just exude happiness? Forget that, what about your wife who is so excited about going to the circus she is threatening to feed everyone to the tigers? I will definitely post pics of the "Greatest Show on Earth" in tomorrow's blog.
What is is about clowns that scares me? It could be this:
Pennywise the Clown from Stephen King's IT. I read the book and watched the movie. He scared the mess out of me when I was younger. Come to think of it, he scares me now. That has to be what sin really looks like down at the core. The next time you are thinking impure thoughts just imagine Pennywise chewing on your brain. Between that and Dumbo, the circus has not been portrayed very well in the movies. What about Batman? Robin's parents were killed when a tight rope line broke. In the movie Big Fish, Danny DeVito, who plays the Ringmaster, turns into a werewolf and then shows his butt to the camera. There you go, the circus is about freaky demonic clowns, mistreated elephants, acrobats falling to their death, and Danny DeVito's butt.
Yay! Circus here we come!
